Florence + The Machine merupakan band yang beraliran Indie Pop dan Blue Eyed Soul. Band ini beranggotakan 5 org yaitu Florence Welch (vokal), Robert Ackroyd (gitar), Crishtoper Lloyd Hayden (Drums), Isabella Summers (Keyboards) dan Tom Manger (Harpa) ini mengingatkan kita akan musik2 shoegaze yang terkenal lewat Portishead.

PhotobucketSingle pertama dari mereka yang berjudul ‘Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)’ ini diambil dari album terbarunya yang berjudul “Lungs”, single pertama dari mereka ini sangat unik, dimana perpaduan alat-alat musik yang mereka mainkan begitu terasa di telinga dan sangat imajinatif.
‘Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)’ ini ditulis oleh Paul Epworth dan Florence Welch, diproduseri juga oleh Paul Epworth.

Single pertama dari Florence + The Machine ini pun banyak masukan yang positif dari media-media, diantaranya dari thisisfakediy.co.uk yang mengatakan “It’s refreshing, telling in fact that perhaps we’re getting a little tired of the ’sound of today’”, they then said “Her range convinces you of her talents far more than the previous two singles that helped cement her position as a new born talent” and ended by saying “The most intelligent, forward-thinking work to come from Florence and the Machine indeed it may be, but you can’t help but expect even more surprises from ‘Lungs’”.

Untuk sekedar informasi album dari mereka “Lungs” telah menempati #2 di UK Albums Chart dan telah terjual 146.639 di UK sendiri, sementara di Irish Albums Chart menempati #1 hingga saat ini. Sesuatu yang mengagumkan, langsung saja dengarkan. Enjoy!!!!
